Abi Karlin-Resnick is serving as Interim Executive Director during Miriam Yupanqui’s parental leave (through early November 2025). She brings an extensive background in nonprofit management, having served in roles that touch every part of organizational operations – direct service, fundraising, financial management, communications, strategy development, and program evaluation. Over the last 25 years, she has worked in a variety of organizations in London, Boston, Chicago, and the Bay Area. She started out managing youth programs in disinvested communities in Chicago and then shifted her social impact focus to nonprofit administration and fundraising. For 10 years, she served as the Executive Director of East Palo Alto-based Health Connected, a leading provider of reproductive health education in California. Most recently she has served in a variety of interim leadership roles and provides consulting on program evaluation, strategic planning, revenue generation, operational excellence, and organizational performance management with a specialty in supporting small social impact organizations. She holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Education from UCLA, an MBA with a concentration in Public and Non-Profit Management from Boston University, an MS in Educational Improvement and Transformation from Drexel University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management with a concentration in education policy, also from Drexel University. Connect with Abi on LinkedIn.
