Karina Macias Sandoval is currently a Program Manager of Strategic Partnerships & Pipeline Programs at Stanford University where she’s building a network of pipeline programs and partnership to diversify the workforce.
Originally from Michoacan, Mexico, Karina immigrated to East Palo Alto at the age of three. She attended Ravenswood District Schools before graduating from Eastside College Prep. She’s a first-generation college graduate from Saint Mary’s College of California, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
She credits her achievements to many local non-profits who invested countless resources and time in her development, and is passionate about continuing to provide access and opportunity to those in her community.
During her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s hiking one of the many trails around the Bay Area or sitting on the beach with a good book and good company. Connect with Karina on LinkedIn.
