Born and raised in the vibrant heart of East San José, Kassandra Vivanco Guerrero has always been passionate about helping people and committed to making a difference. In June 2023, Kassandra graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Feminist Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). Her academic journey has equipped her with a profound understanding of the complexities surrounding gender equality and social justice, setting the stage for her future as an aspiring lawyer.

Kassandra’s commitment to creating a more equitable world extends beyond the classroom in her role as the community program assistant at Nuestra Casa. In this role, she supports community members in navigating the safety net services they need to help stabilize their families.
