Matt Sonnenblick moved to the Bay Area from Los Angeles in 2021 and, much to the chagrin of his SoCal roots, quickly fell in love with NorCal.  

Growing up in LA, Matt spent much of his time volunteering in elementary schools throughout San Pedro as well as at his local aquarium, which is when his passion for working in his local communities was born.

Matt earned his B.S. in Commerce and B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia where he studied as a Jefferson Scholar. Matt currently works as an investor for Altamont Capital Partners, a Palo Alto based private equity fund, where he has become deeply involved in the firm’s philanthropic and community efforts through his work with the ACP Foundation and Ownership Works, a non-profit focused on expanding access to equity ownership.

During his free time, he likes to take advantage of all the outdoor activities NorCal has to offer be it skiing, hiking, playing tennis, or just sitting outside in Dolores Park. Connect with Matt on LinkedIn.
